Grandpas Smooth Bore
This old smooth bore started life as a flintlock but later converted to a side-lock percussion. It is not known by whom, or where my great grandfather John got the gun. It stayed in the family for years, presumably handed down to the oldest son, my grandfather Phillip Amos. Don't know where it is today and not quite sure whack of the five boys might have gotten it, but not dad. The rifle and powder horn were an unbroken set.
